Although I’m a huge fan of salsa music, with plenty of tracks in my own collection, I’m also a fan of… music. And so are a lot of our members. For some people hearing a song you know can be like a safety blanket when you’re entering a foreign world.
Everyone is different – some love the thrill of going out, trying something new and hearing a load of tunes they’ve never heard before from a different culture. Some don’t. Those people need a little encouragement, and sometimes that encouragement comes in the form of a great song you know, but can actually dance to.
