Cuban Salsa is a variant of salsa popular in Cuba - big surprise there then! We mainly dance Cross Body Salsa at StreetSalsa, but we like to mix things up and have plenty of styles in the bag for any occasion or music.
Although we've not had time to put some videos together ourselves, I thought it would be a good idea to grab Cuban Salsa videos I like on YouTube for your viewing pleasure.
So here goes, a collection of Cuban Salsa moves and patterns you can practice to up your Cuban Styles skills! Videos courtesy of Fabian Vallejos - check his channel on YouTube if you get chance, it's rather good.
Cuban Basic Step
Here's the Cuban Basic step, it has more rotation that the Cross Body Basic as Cuban Salsa is not danced on a line - but around in circles.

Enchufla & Dile Que No
The Enchufla is a really core step in Cuban Salsa and it's important to master it. And Dile Que No is the Cuban equivalent of a Cross Body - although it's quite different! So this is a really good combo for cracking the basic steps.
